GRACE LEE BOGGS (1915-2015)

Grace Lee Boggs was a 100 year old philosopher activist. She and her husband James collaborated to develop theory and practice for an American Revolution that would advance our common humanity. Together they influence the major movements for justice in the 20th Century. Much of their work remains relevant today. Her last book, the Next American Revolution: Sustainable activism for the 21st Century closes with a chapter entitled “These are the times to grow souls.”
